Chester Tam for State Representative

Massachusetts 9th Bristol District

Why I’m Running for State Representative

I’m running for State Representative because I believe Massachusetts deserves leadership that puts the people first, not politics. Our communities face rising taxes, overregulation, and policies that often leave hardworking families behind. I want to be a voice for common-sense solutions, fiscal responsibility, and protecting the freedoms that make our state strong.

I’m committed to listening to residents, standing up for small businesses, and ensuring our government is accountable. My goal is simple: to create a government that works for you, not against you, and to bring practical, conservative leadership to the State House.

Together, we can build a Massachusetts that thrives economically, protects individual freedoms, and keeps government spending in check. This is why I’m running—for you, for our community, and for our future.

Fighting for You

1. Lower Costs & Economic Opportunity

Massachusetts has become too expensive for working families. I will fight to lower the cost of living, reduce unnecessary taxes and fees, and support small businesses so people can afford to live, work, and raise a family here.

2. Accountable & Transparent Government

Beacon Hill is too disconnected from the people it serves. I will push for greater transparency, responsible spending, and accountability so taxpayers know where their money is going and have a real voice in government.

3. Strong Communities & Public Safety

Safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and reliable infrastructure are the foundation of thriving communities. I will stand with first responders, support local decision-making, and ensure communities—not bureaucrats—come first.
